From Garage Owners and Business Clients:

- Garage address, services offered, ramp capacity, and operating hours
- Lead platform credentials or account access details (e.g. FixMyCar, BookMyGarage, ClickMechanic), where provided by the client to enable lead management
- Booking records, revenue data, and job history processed through our garage management software
- Payment information: invoicing details and transaction records processed via Wise (and potentially Stripe in future)
- Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages, and any information shared with our team during onboarding or ongoing support
From Website Visitors:
- Name and email address submitted via the contact form or Free Garage Growth Audit booking form
- IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- WhatsApp messages if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp chat button on the website
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- To onboard your garage and deliver our agreed services, including lead monitoring, sales closing, digital marketing, and garage management software access
- To manage and respond to leads from platforms such as FixMyCar, BookMyGarage, and ClickMechanic on your behalf
- To schedule and confirm bookings and communicate updates regarding your account and performance
- To generate and process invoices and collect payments via Wise (and in future, Stripe)
- To send service-related communications and, where consent has been given, marketing emails or updates about new features or pricing
- To improve our website, software, and overall service quality
- To comply with our legal obligations under UK law
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

- Lead platforms: FixMyCar, BookMyGarage, ClickMechanic, and similar platforms, where access is required to manage your leads on your behalf
- Payment processors: Wise — for invoicing and payment collection. We share only the information necessary to process a transaction (your name, business name, and invoice amount). We do not store card or banking details ourselves. In future, Stripe may also be used; their privacy policy will apply to card data at that time
- Software sub-processors: Hosting providers, CRM tools, and analytics platforms used to deliver and improve our services
- Legal and regulatory authorities: Where we are required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory obligation
All third parties we work with are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:
- Client data (garage owners and business accounts): retained for the duration of the service agreement plus 2 years after termination, to comply with financial and legal obligations
- Website enquiry and contact form data: retained for 12 months from the date of submission
- Payment and invoice records: retained for 6 years in accordance with HMRC requirements
- Marketing communications data: retained until you withdraw your consent
After the applicable retention period, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
